Supporting Our Residents
The Winnetka Park District is responsible for thirteen athletic fields, four sports facilities, beaches, parks, and a long list of programs.
Even with such rich offerings, it’s often not enough for the active number of school-aged children, teens, and adults who live in this beautiful town. We want to improve venues and programming for all Winnetka residents as indicated by their wishes.
Concerning our children, their time has become more sought after. Not only because of increasingly competitive sports clubs but also because of technology and social media.
Our kids’ happiness and mental health are paramount. We want to provide every opportunity possible for them to put down their devices and play and engage with their peers.
It’s our mission to ensure that the Winnetka Park District maximizes opportunities for our residents to use and enjoy facilities, beaches, fields, and programs as fully as possible.

Winnetka is a special place and we want to preserve that for ourselves and future generations.
We want to see progress and will analyze new developments from an economic, environmental, and demand perspective.

We know being on the board of a taxing body requires the willingness to learn with an open mind.
We encourage challenging voices and oppose undermining the hardworking, quality park district employees we’re fortunate to have.
Not only will we take the time to comprehend all of the past, current, and new affairs concerning the park district, but we will take time to educate and support Winnetka residents in an objective and unbiased manner.
We will listen to ALL of the voices in the community and not just a select few who feel they know what is best for everyone.
We pledge to make all efforts to foster a harmonious and productive working relationship with each taxing body and to work tirelessly toward common goals.
