Elise considers consensus building to be her strength.
Having served as a law partner in the corporate department of DLA Piper negotiating complex business relationships, Elise developed a strong ability to work collaboratively with multiple parties to reach agreement.
This skill will be instrumental in ensuring a positive and fruitful working relationship between the Park District and Winnetka’s other taxing bodies.
Additionally, with her legal background and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Elise will be able to efficiently work through the dense, complicated materials regularly presented to the Winnetka Park District Board.
Elise has greatly enjoyed living in Winnetka for 17 years, raising her family and taking advantage of all that the Park District offers. Some of her family’s most cherished memories have involved the use of Park District properties and participation in Park District programs.
It is her goal to represent the interests of residents who are new to Winnetka, those who are raising families and those who are aging in place.
